Holga - Sky

Last week I took these photos to finish a roll of Fujichrome I wanted to have developed. When I saw the photos I thought what I enjoy about using a Holga camera is how surprised I often am at how the photos look. As I held the camera up to the sky I knew the dark ominous looking gray clouds would be very dark in the photos but was surprised at how dramatic the camera's light leak and the solarization (the white at the bottom of the pictures caused by film not being wound tightly) would make the pictures.

Great photos! So dramatic!! A question: how close are they to "reality"??

Hi ytsl,

Not very...the gray clouds seemed very close and dramatic. The sky in between them was a blueish gray.
