WINTER STORM - FEBRUARY 2010

Our first real winter storm began yesterday afternoon and is ending now about 24 hours later. I took some photos while it was snowing heavily and the snowflakes blurred part of the lens.

Lots of snow. Taken after the snowplow and sidewalk plow had gone by.

Looking out back into the yard.

Still snowing.

Branches covered in snow. The snow was wet and heavy and fell off the tree limbs all day.

It was still snowing as I took this photo of snow on a the branches of a pine tree.

Love the one looking into the branches. I also like the blurred effect in the final photo—very interesting!

Hi sbk --

Believe it or not... whereas last week, the temperature went down to 6 degrees Celsius in Hong Kong, this week it's up to the mid twenties! So now really very far away from snowy weather of the kind that your photos show...
