Sometimes it's fun to experiment with textured masks inside the camera. In addition to a clear tape mask I added a red plastic net which I cut a hole in and stretched in different directions. Cherry tomatoes are sold here in small red plastic net bags. I cut a small piece to use in my Holga. When I experiment I usually take photos of the same places where I'm using my regular Holga and then compare the photos.

A run on photo of a house in town and a local lake.

Look through the net and yes, the bush is growing on the front porch.

The red net looks red in this photo of a church seen in a previous entry.

Boats on a Lake Saint Catherine where I took pictures earlier this summer.

I take most of the pictures of the lake from a bridge as most of the land is private property and in summer the owners/renters are in residence.

Wow... these are so cool! What a great idea. And I love how the stretched hole becomes a mysterious focal point.

More experiments, please. :)
