AND ON AND ON AND ON - THE NEVER ENDING WINTER

And so it goes. More snow, more winter weather.

Icicles.

Warmer daytime tempertures and kaboom. Icicles fall to the ground.

Yup, it's still winter.

Icicles on the steps covered with snow. Maybe I should shovel them off the steps.

Hi sbk --

Seeing the blue sky in your first photo reminds me of how when I was living in Wisconsin, the blue sunny sky would get me mistakenly thinking that it was warmer than it actually was. After learning my lesson, I got into a habit of listening to the radio to get the weather forecast each morning...

This all feels like another lifetime ago... not least since I never listen to the radio when in my apartment here in Hong Kong! ;)

Hi ytsl,

Yes, here too, a sunny sky in winter usually means it's colder than when snow was falling. Still I love being outside (for a brief while) on a sunny day after a storm no matter how cold it is.

Other than the radio in our car I don't think we have another one. Times have changed.....
