Fall Colors

This year hurricane Irene brought so much rain that the fall colors were effected. So far the colors are not as brilliant as in past years yet there is still a lot to see as the leaves change color and fall to the ground. A more subtle fall color season makes this photographer look harder for interesting shots. Not a bad thing.

Maple tree.

The frogs had a good summer. They are larger and heavier than in the spring.

Leaves on a picnic table by the trail along a local steam.

Moss covered rock in a local stream.

Leaves in a pot hole in a local parking lot.

Hi sbk --

Those darn frogs again! More seriously though, love the photos. BTW, what's your favorite season? Mine is the fall by quite a long chalk. :)

Yes,those frogs again! How much fall do you have in Hong Kong? For all my complaining winter is my favorite season.

Hi sbk --

I guess one could say one gets a couple of months of fall weather here in Hong Kong. Today, it's actually quite nice and cool. Was dreading the high heat and humidity of Hong Kong post Japan trip but it's not been too bad at all -- touch wood! :)
