FEBRUARY 2016 VERMONT - ONE DAY OF WINTER WEATHER

This year the snowy winter of the northeast isn't.  Here in Central Vermont we can count on one hand the number of days we have had snow. Last week's snowy day was gone in the evening when the temperatures rose into the high 40's (5.5 C) and it rained most of the night. This weather was forecast so I drove around in the morning taking photos of the town and the road conditions as I knew by the next morning the snow would be gone and the roads would be clear.

                                                      Typical this winter. Note snow.

                                                              Wow, a snowy road!

After the snowplows and sidewalk plow....

Walking trail on old railroad route.

My fav- the sidewalk plow in the street returning
                                                             to the town garage.

Hi sarah sbk --

Have you been having an unusually warm winter or one so cold it can't/couldn't snow? And to judge from your tone, you actually love snow, huh? ;b

Hi YTSL,

We have been having a very mild and warm winter with very little snow. And yes, I do like snow. I like to take photos of it, walk in it and drive when the roads have been plowed. It is often very beautiful after a snow storm/fall and the air is great as is the light. Great for photos.
