Vermont - Small Town Living -September 2016

Today was the fall Chili Cook-Off presented by the Poultney Rotary Club.  While I am not a fan of chili I do like to walk up town and snap photos of the different types of vendors who set up for the day. It was a clear sunny day with more than a hint of fall in the air. Also the sun isn't rising as high in the sky so there were what I call fall shadows.

Thanks much for the look at small town living -- which I find rather... exotic! The smallest town I've ever lived in had a population of around 30,000 -- but Beloit had a sister town just across the Wisconsin-Illionois border that was bigger than it, so didn't feel super small as a result.

i ytsl,

Thanks for the comment. My friends and I like that you used the word "exotic". Morgan would probably say "boring" but to quote Cicero suun each his own or in this each her own. The town has a population of about 1700 people. In spite of its small population the town has lots of activities during the year which people from the area come to. Fun to take photos at.
